History: The original map was created by Thrór and his sonThráin, before being passed down to Thorin in The Hobbit. The dwarven company, along with Bilbo Baggins, used this map to guide their quest to take back the Lonely Mountain. In The Fellowship of the Ring, Bilbo is seen looking at this map at he reminisces on his past adventures.
